A thing that strikes me a lot about Atlanta is the amount of red brick buildings. This is in sharp contrast to other locations I have been to in the US and, in fact, it gives Atlanta a very unique look. I would even go that far and say that these red brick houses are extremely European – but some will probably disagree.
All shots here and in the gallery below were taken over the course of the last 2 months in Altanta. Most of them were taken somewhere in Castleberry Hills, Inman Park, and Grant Park. I guess that the abundance of these red brick buildings is due to Atlanta’s past as one of the big railroad hubs. Many of these buildings appear to be some old factories or storage spaces.
