Today I felt like exploring more of Singapore by foot and I went on a crazy walk of approx. 20 km (according to google) which took from 9am in the morning until about 7.30pm in the afternoon/evening – with small food stops on the way. I will talk about the route and all the locations on the way in a different post and focus on the Marina Bay area part of the walk now where I spent most of the later afternoon and evening.
So at about 70% of my walk, in the later afternoon I ended up in the Marina Bay area where some huge event was going on with a military parade, a run, fireworks, etc. There was even a “flight show” with some jets – pretty cool. I tried to google the event to figure out a bit more about it but I was unsuccessful.
As it is getting pretty late I will keep it short for today – enjoy the shots below. The shots are in chronological order and start somewhere on Orchard route right before I headed over to the Marina Bay area. TSJ
Lovely photos!
