Tokyo revisited

Being back from my Japan trip for about half a year now, I felt that it was time to finally go through my shots in more detail and put together a book about Tokyo and Kyoto. Some of you might remember that initially after I returned I was less positive about my experience given that it was almost impossible to go beyond the surface. So I felt I should let it rest for a while before going back to it. It also gave me time to do some more research so that I can understand a few things better now. My next trip to Japan will be different…

PS: I tried a new setup for the photos. They are all hosted on flickr now for a higher resolution – just click on them. Some of them just work way better in large and also I got a lot of complaints about the galleries and the viewing experience on mobile devices.
