This weekend was packed with some great events in Atlanta. It started with the Kirkwood Wine Stroll on Friday, continued with the Beltline Wine Stroll on Saturday, and ended with Atlanta Streets Alive on Sunday. I will start in reverse order and will first give you guys some impressions of Atlanta Streets Alive.
The event started on Sunday 2pm with several streets being closed, so that pedestrians and bikes can use the streets. Most streets were closed already at around 1pm for the people to be able to setup their booth etc.
The Masquerade had some music going…
… and several booth were setup close to where the Poncey City Market will open. As you can see it was a bit overcast adding a bit of a gloomy atmosphere…
… but this did not really impact participation and fun factor as you can see.
This time (maybe it was the same last year but I do not remember?) there was quite a mix of pedestrians, bicycles, roller blades, and dogs…
… although the event seems to be traditionally bicycles. Here are a few more shots…
