I went for a short trip to Asheville today and had some time exploring the city a bit. Asheville has a very unique flair, quite different from Atlanta—not just because of its size.
I left quite early in morning still getting some of the heavy rain from the night. Slowly however the weather cleared up and the day was quite pleasant.
I spent a couple of hours walking around mostly the downtown area which has a lot of smaller really nice shops (no mass produced crap). The center is full of coffee shops, smaller eateries, and bars and I got a bit of a new age and alternative vibe when walking around.
